Can Jets Avoid Another 0-3 Start? feat. Evan Roberts

If Zach Wilson is any worse this Sunday than he was against the Patriots, there will be panic in Jets land.

The rookie QB can really only go up from his four-interception horror show at MetLife Stadium that had fans booing in the fourth quarter. They head to the Denver to take on the 2-0 Broncos. Are the Broncos getting a bit too much hype for beating two bad teams?

To break down the Jets-Broncos matchup, make picks and have a fun conversation with WFAN’s Evan Roberts, we bring you a new episode of the “Gang’s All Here” podcast with Brian Costello and I.

Gang’s All Here Podcast with Jake & Coz:

  • JETS NUGGETS: Denzel Mims will probably be inactive again this week, especially with Jamison Crowder potentially back on the field. The 2020 Jets draft class has been hurt or ineffective so far.
  • JETS @ BRONCOS PREVIEW: Teddy Bridgewater has been solid, leading a 2-0 Broncos team. Wilson going up against a strong Broncos defense. Jets need to run the ball a lot and avoid turnovers. Coz and I both are shockingly pick the Jets to not only cover the spread, but…WIN THE GAME. Coz also explains what to eat in Denver if you are making the trip and what makes it such a great city.

Evan Roberts Interview:
Co-Host of WFAN’s “Carton & Roberts”

  • JETS FUTURE: Sunday was a disaster for Wilson. Not expecting great results this season, but just go out and compete. This is what we signed up for…another year of being patient. Hopeful for Jets future with Wilson and Robert Saleh, but why are we hopeful? We have nothing to back it up.
  • BOOING: Would never boo own players, but understands why fans do. Getting to MetLife Stadium is a major time investment, and fans want to see competitive football and have not seen that for the past decade. They just want to see competence and closer games. Mets closer than Jets to winning a title. It’s championship or bust for the Nets this season.
  • WFAN/CARTON: Would love to be a WFAN lifer. If he’s not, it’s because the company gets rid of him. Loves being able to talk about his favorite teams. Enjoys working with Craig Carton. It’s an entirely different show from working with Joe Benigno. Talking about more than just sports with Carton.
