It seems Jimmy Kimmel is making a holiday tradition out of burning his eyebrows off.
The “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” host, 54, revealed his Thanksgiving began on a fiery note as he nearly set his hair and brows ablaze — again — while cooking a turkey for his family.
“happy thanksgiving everyone. try not to burn your hair and eyebrow off lighting the oven!” Kimmel captioned a photo of himself on Instagram on Thursday with charred black ash along his hairline and across his eyebrows.
The late-night host squinted at the camera while posing in his backyard kitchen. He later shared a picture with a large turkey that appeared to be fresh off the grill.
“Burnt hair-smoked turkey,” he quipped while donning a black tee and a baseball cap.
Kimmel’s pals were quick to jump in the comments section of the hilarious post, including DJ Khaled, who wrote, “Take it easy my brother love and blessings to you and your family, happy holidays.”
The father of four’s 30-year-old daughter, Katie, who recently wed musician Will Logsdon, also commented on the holiday snap, writing, “Again?????” to which Kimmel replied, “Yep. It’s now a holiday tradition.”
The comedian was referring to his previous admission that he had burned his body hair while cooking on the Fourth of July. He made the funny revelation during a November 2020 appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
“I haven’t told anybody about this, but on July 4th, I did a very stupid thing,” he said at the time. “I turned the gas on on the grill, and then I went for a little walk to look for matches. And then when I came back, I thought, ‘Hmm, I should probably open the lid and air this thing out, maybe turn it off and start over again.’”
Kimmel continued, “And then I thought, ‘No, I’m not going to do that. What I’ll do is I’ll light a piece of paper on fire, then throw it into the grill.’ I did that, and there was a massive explosion in my face. I burned my beard off and my eyebrow off and my eyelashes off.”
